Scope
Stratus Labs (“Stratus Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the public website GoStratusLabs.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected through the Site and the enquiry channels connected to it.
The Site publishes company information, services and capabilities, insights, and forms to contact us or request an executive briefing. It does not provide user accounts, client portals, online payments, ecommerce, newsletters, or marketing automation.
This policy is prepared with Canadian privacy expectations under PIPEDA, Pakistan privacy and data-protection expectations applicable to our operations, and internationally recognized privacy principles—including those associated with the GDPR—where they are relevant to a visitor. It does not assert that every visitor is subject to a particular statute.
Information we collect
The personal information we receive is information you choose to provide when contacting us or requesting a briefing. Depending on the form, this may include:
Name
Company or organization
Position or role
Email address
Telephone number
Industry, service interest, or preferred contact method, where you elect to provide them
Message or project summary, and any other information you voluntarily include
We also process limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and deliver the Site and its forms. This may include internet protocol (IP) address, approximate request timing, standard server-log details, and security-verification tokens used to reduce automated abuse.
We do not use the Site for advertising tracking or visitor profiling for marketing purposes. Essential security measures used to deliver forms may involve standard technical protections.
How we use information
We use personal information only as needed to:
Respond to enquiries and correspondence
Arrange and prepare executive briefings
Evaluate whether a consulting or advisory opportunity is appropriate
Improve the reliability and usefulness of our services and the Site
Maintain business records and comply with applicable legal or professional obligations
When you submit a form, we may send a confirmation email acknowledging receipt and an internal notification so our advisory team can respond. We do not use Site enquiry information to send newsletters or marketing campaigns.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We do not rent personal information.
We share personal information only where reasonably necessary:
With trusted service providers that process information on our behalf to host the Site, deliver email, or protect forms against automated abuse
Where disclosure is required or permitted by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of Stratus Labs, our clients, or others
In connection with a corporate reorganization, merger, acquisition, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections
Service providers are expected to process personal information only for the purposes we instruct and with appropriate safeguards.
Service providers
Depending on configuration and your interaction with the Site, personal information may be processed by providers we actually use, including:
Resend — delivery of enquiry notifications and confirmation emails
Cloudflare — bot and abuse protection for form submissions (Turnstile)
Vercel — website hosting and related infrastructure
These providers may process information in the countries where they operate. Their own terms and privacy notices also apply to their processing.
International transfers
Stratus Labs operates internationally, including in Pakistan and Canada. Information submitted through the Site may be processed, stored, or accessed outside your country of residence, including in jurisdictions where our personnel or infrastructure providers operate.
Where information is transferred internationally, we take steps appropriate to the circumstances and to applicable law to protect it, including contractual and organizational measures with service providers.
Retention
We retain enquiry and correspondence records only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including business follow-up, relationship management, security, dispute resolution, and legal or professional recordkeeping.
Retention periods vary with the nature of the enquiry and any subsequent engagement. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or irreversibly anonymize it where practical.
Security
We apply administrative and technical measures appropriate to a public corporate website and business correspondence, including secure transport (HTTPS), access controls, form abuse protections, and provider safeguards.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please do not submit passwords, payment card details, government identification numbers, health records, or other highly sensitive information through Site forms.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you in connection with the Site. You may also contact us with questions about how that information is handled.
We will respond within a reasonable time and may ask you to verify your identity before acting. Certain requests may be limited where we are required or permitted to retain information, where deletion would impair legitimate business or legal interests, or where a request is unfounded or excessive.
This section describes practical rights and contact channels. It does not expand or reduce rights that apply to you under the law of your jurisdiction.
Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for business and professional audiences. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Site. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates the effective date of the current version.
When we make changes, we will post the revised policy on this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
